Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress or musician as well as playback vocalist in Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. She made her acting debut with the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut in Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She is the younger cousin of an assistant researcher who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was raised near Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a young classical pianist, who was a huge geek. When she was 10, she was an active member of the group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the basis of her first musical and singing career. While at college she was also performing as a theatre artist in stage productions organized by The Madras Players. She was President of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva as part of a commercial for a coffee. Also, she was a part of an episode that was retransmitted on Podhigai channel. The actress has appeared all over India. She performed a very brief performance in Kanda Mudhal, the 2005 climax. She sang in a song to Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. He asked her to join his female leads in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea was chosen for the role following the actors Simran Tabu and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. The film premiered at the start of 2010. The film was released in early 2010. the role of a support as Venkat Prabhu was in Mankatha. The film premiered on August 11, 2011. The actress made her Malayalam debut on film in Rajeeev's Annayum Rasoolum in the year 2013.
