Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). She grew up in an artistic family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. She started as a photographic assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. Her first two movies, she was recognized and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films MacGraw was named the most successful female film in the history of box offices. Her footprints from 1972 and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
